Which cookies twocontinents.com sets, what they do and how to control them. Last updated: 5 September 2026.
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. They let the site remember your choices between pages and visits, keep it working properly and help its operators understand how it is used. Similar technologies, such as local storage and pixels, work in comparable ways, and this policy covers them too.
We keep the use of cookies on the Website deliberately small. We do not show third-party advertising, and we do not sell data collected through cookies. The cookies we use fall into three groups.
These make the Website work and cannot be switched off in our systems. They do not identify you personally.
Where enabled, we use Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager to understand which pages and listings are viewed, how visitors reach the Website and where it can be improved. Statistics are aggregated and IP addresses are truncated.
Links to our Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and WhatsApp accounts take you to those platforms; we do not embed their tracking on the Website. Once you are on their sites, their cookie policies apply.
You can control cookies through your browser settings: block them, allow them only from certain sites or delete the ones already stored. The help pages of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge explain how. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the Website — the language and currency choice, and the contact forms — may not work as intended. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites with Google's browser add-on.
The Website does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" signals sent by browsers, as there is no common standard for them. The third-party services mentioned above follow their own approach.
We will update this page if the cookies we use change. The date of the last revision is shown at the top.
Questions about cookies can be sent to contact@twocontinents.com. Our Privacy Policy explains more about how we handle personal data.
